OF DOCUMENTS REQUIRED IN SUPPORT OF APPLICATION FOR TRANSCRIPTION
OF BIRTH AND MARRIAGE OF THE PARENTS PRIOR TO 19TH DECEMBER,
1961 AND 30TH NOVEMBER,1974 RESPECTIVELY WHEREIN BOTH THE
PARENTS HAVE EXPIRED:-

Birth Teor of the expired father. (Certified copy)
- Birth
Teor of the expired mother. (Certified copy)

Their marriage Teor. (Certified copy)

Residence Certificate of the expired father.

Complimentary Residence Certificate of the expired father.

Residence Certificate of the expired mother

Complimentary Residence Certificate of the expired mother.

Death Certificate of the expired father.

Death Certificate of the expired mother.

Birth Certificate of the child (Major).

Residence Certificate of Child (Applicant).

Complimentary Residence Certificate of Child (If applicable).

Indian passport of the child (Major).

Power of Attorney of the child (Major).

Police Clearance Certificate of the child (Major).
Note:
In this case Birth Transcription will be done of the
both the deceased parents as the same is required for
the transcription of Marriage so as to bring the eligibility
for the Children. (As per the new directions of the
CRC the birth of both the deceased parents is required
to be transcribed at the CRC prior to the transcription
of Marriage).
BIRTH TEOR (Registo
dear Nascimento):
-
Birth Teor is the certified Integral copy of the Birth
Certificate photocopied from the Registo de Nascimento
obtained from the office of the respective Conservatoria
do Registo Civil/ Office of Civil Registrar cum Sub-Registrar.
- Most
of the Birth Registers/ Registos dear Nascimento from
most of the Conservatoria do Registos Civil / Office
of Civil Rgistrar cun Sub-Registrar have been shifted
to the Directorate of Archives & Archaeology, Panjim
- Goa under the direction of the High Court.
- The
Birth Certificates where the births have taken place
after 1970 must be applied with the respective Municipal
Council or Village Panchayat.
MARRIAGE
TEOR (Registo dear Casamento):
-
Marriage Teor is the certified Integral copy of the
Marriage Certificate photocopied from the Registo de
Casamento obtained from the office of the respective
Conservatoria do Registo Civil.
- Most
of the Marriage Registers / Registos dear Casamento
from most of the Conservatoria do Registo Civil / Office
of Civil Registrar cum Sub-Registrar have been shifted
to the the Directorate of Archives & Archaeology,
Panjim - Goa under the direction of the High Court.
DEATH TEOR (Registo
dear Obito):
-
Death Teor is the certified Integral copy of the Death
Certificate photocopied from the Registo de Obito obtained
from the Office of the respective Conservatoria do Registo
Civil / Office of Civil Registrar cum Sub-Registrar.
- Most
of the Death Registers / Registos dear Obito from most
of the Conservatoria do Registo Civil / Office of Civil
Registrar cum Sub-Registrar have been shifted to the
the Directorate of Archives & Archaeology, Panjim
- Goa under the direction of the High Court.
- The
Death certificates where the deaths have taken place
after 1970 must be applied with the respective Municipal
Council or the Village Panchayat.
RESIDENCE / DOMICILITY CERTIFICATE:
-
Residence / Domicility Certificate is obtained from
the respective Mamlatdar / Municipality / Panchayat
within whose jurisdiction the applicant resides specifying
the period and address of residence of the applicant.
(The clause including the period from 1st January 1974
to 31st December 1975 must be mentioned where ever applicable).
The Residence / Domicility Certificate is required so
as to decide the jurisdiction of the Portuguese Consulate.
COMPLIMENTARY CERTIFICATE:
-
Complimentary Certificate is the complimentary proof
of residence for the period between 1st January 1974
to 31st December 1975 to be obtained from Church / School
/ Work place clearly specifying the residential period
and address which must compulsorily cover the period
of residence between 1st January 1974 to 31st December
1975.
POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE:
-
Every applicant is required to produce Police Clearance
Certificate of Good Moral Conduct having no adverse
notice nor involved in any criminal cases with photo
identity and 6 months validity issued by the respective
Crime Investigation Department (C I D).
INDIAN PASSPORT:
-
Indian Passport is used as a recognized documents of
Identification and therefore all the personal details
such as the Name of the Applicant, Fathers Name, Mothers
Name, Place of Birth, Date of Birth on the Indian Passport
must match the Birth Teor (Registo de Nascimento). The
name of the Spouse on the Indian Passport of the Applicant
must always be the maiden name.
- Ant
error in the personal details on the Indian Passport
must be corrected by the way of endorsement on the existing
Passport or by obtaining a fresh Passport.
- No
Divergence, Rectification, Regularization, Affidavits
or Declarations before any authority in India justifying
the errors are acceptable.
